A 'Comfort' shirt has a looser, classic cut to that of a 'Fitted' shirt. Some people find the looser fit more comfortable, hence the name. The 'Fitted' shirt is a stylish, form-fitting, close cut shirt.
It is advisable that when picking a 'Fitted' shirt you order one size larger than you would normally.
These names refer to the varying print techniques used on SmartMunkee shirts.
'Digital Transfer' is a simple manufacturing technique. A digitally produced sheet of the design is heat-transferred to the shirt. Multi-coloured designs with all colour shades are available using this method. However, these designs will fade gradually with washing. We do not use Digital Transfers for SmartMunkee T-shirts. Our shirts are made to last!
'Flock' is a durable, non-fading technique. The designs are slightly elevated giving a soft, somewhat velvety texture. 'Flock' designs work best with one or two colours so the designs are more striking by their simplicity.
'Flex' is a durable, flexible print technique. It gives a smooth and shiny texture and allows for more unusual colouring techniques such as metallic and reflective effects. More importantly, it does not fade! The quality is excellent and this design technique is favoured by SmartMunkee for most of our designs.
Products are generally ready for shipping within 24-48 hours* of receiving the order . Goods are delivered within 2 weeks, although goods are generally delivered faster (within 5 to 7 working days). With regards to the designs, some are more intricate to print than others and so the production costs are a little higher. Where possible we try to minimise this cost at design time, but when we feel a design merits that little more workmanship we will reflect this in the cost.
With regards to the shirts, there are varying styles of shirt that cost more to manufacture. Once again, this gets reflected in the price.
'Spreadshirt' are shop partnersto SmartMunkee. They handle the merchandising on our behalf, from ordering through to distribution. This enables us to concentrate on the designs and product selection.

We wanted a name that would stand out. Our misspelling of Munkee is deliberate. In the long term people will remember the name. The literal spelling of Smart Monkey is very popular and, quite frankly, over used. So we changed the spelling to Smart Munkee. Having the words Smart and Munkee separated did not have the same visual impact from a design perspective. Therefore the correct spelling should also exclude the space and combine the words to form the SmartMunkee we have come to know.
